Healing a Broken Heart

On Sunday January 23rd Mr. Jeremy  came to the children saying he wasn’t feeling well.  With a doctor kit and a little help from Pastor Jeff they realized he had a broken heart so the children set to mending it!  From there, Pastor Jeff likened this to a story in the bible where Jesus proclaimed that he was sent to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.  And then he told them that Jesus is here for us today to help us when we’re feeling sad, or upset, or in need of something.

Gradually, our congregation is reappearing at Sunday worship services.  We all are sensing that maybe, just MAYBE, this public health nightmare may be ebbing.   Our community’s heart has been broken by this for so long, indeed, the whole world’s.  What we need in order to heal is each other.  So when you’re ready to come back out, know that your church is here to help mend your broken heart, too.

Join us every Sunday at 10:30 in-person or via Facebook live to see how the Word will continue to be explained to our youngest members.
